Today in Britain, two top world famous soccer teams (Chelsea and Manchester City) were knocked out in the English Football Association Cup playoffs. And this accomplished by teams from lower leagues. A very democratic sporting event
Just imagine wide open (American) football playoffs. Broncos vs Notre Dame, e.g. As there are only two groupings of ‘senior’ teams in the USA, the matchups would have to be between the ‘professional’ and the college sectors. But what a wide-open exciting and democratic series that would be.
